Please read these terms carefully before using our services

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by Sicuro Shipping Limited, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance.

2. Scope of Services

Sicuro Shipping Limited provides courier and logistics services, including but not limited to:

● Shipping between the United States of America and Jamaica

● Air and sea freight services

● Assistance with online shopping and payment services

● Pickup and drop-off options

● Delivery via Knutsford Express or other third-party carriers, where applicable

Sicuro Shipping Limited reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at its discretion without prior notice.

3. Shipping Schedule

Shipments are scheduled approximately three (3) times per week. All schedules are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs clearance procedures, carrier operations, inspections, weather conditions, port delays, or other factors beyond our control.

4. Service Areas

Sicuro Shipping Limited operates in the following locations:

● Half Way Tree (Package Hub – 19 Prestine Plaza)

● Lacovia

● Santa Cruz

Deliveries outside these locations may be facilitated through Knutsford Express or other carriers at the customer’s expense.

5. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.

Sicuro Shipping Limited assumes limited liability for loss, damage, delay, or errors. Liability, where applicable, is strictly limited to the lesser of:

● The declared value of the item, or

● A maximum of JMD $10,000 per shipment (unless otherwise agreed in writing)

Responsibility begins when the package is received at our warehouse or collected by us and ends once the package is transferred to third-party carriers, customs authorities, or delivery partners.

Sicuro Shipping Limited is not responsible for:

● Vendor or supplier errors

● Incorrect or incomplete information provided by customers

● Packages lost or misdelivered prior to arrival at our warehouse

● Delays, losses, or damages caused by airlines, shipping lines, customs, or other third parties

6. Packaging & Fragile Items

Sicuro Shipping Limited is not responsible for damage caused by improper or insufficient packaging by vendors, senders, or customers.

Fragile items (including electronics, glass, liquids, cosmetics, and other breakable goods) are shipped entirely at the owner’s risk, regardless of packaging method or handling instructions.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items (Jamaica Compliance)

Customers must ensure that all shipments comply with the laws and regulations of Jamaica, including those enforced by the Jamaica Customs Agency (JCA) and other regulatory bodies.

Prohibited and restricted items include, but are not limited to:

● Illegal drugs or controlled substances

● Firearms, ammunition, and weapons (without proper permits)

● Explosives, flammable, or hazardous materials

● Counterfeit or pirated goods

● Indecent or obscene materials

● Certain food items, agricultural products, and perishables (without permits from relevant authorities such as MOAF)

● Live animals

● Cash, cheques, or negotiable instruments

Certain items may require import permits, licenses, or approvals (e.g., electronics, pharmaceuticals, food products).

Any prohibited or undeclared item may be seized by customs authorities without compensation. Sicuro Shipping Limited assumes no liability for confiscation, fines, penalties, or legal consequences.

8. Customs, Duties & Government Charges

All shipments entering Jamaica are subject to inspection and assessment by the Jamaica Customs Agency (JCA).

Customers are solely responsible for:

● Accurate declaration of all items and values

● Payment of all applicable customs duties, GCT (General Consumption Tax), SCT, and any other government fees

● Providing TRN (Tax Registration Number) where required

Failure to properly declare items may result in penalties, seizure, or delays, for which Sicuro Shipping Limited bears no responsibility.

9. Assisted Online Shopping Services

For assisted online shopping services:

● Full payment must be made in advance (in JMD unless otherwise agreed)

● Customers must confirm item details prior to purchase

● Payments are non-refundable once purchases are completed

Sicuro Shipping Limited is not responsible for vendor-related issues including delays, cancellations, incorrect items, defects, or sizing problems.

All refunds or exchanges must be handled directly between the customer and the vendor.

10. Payments

All fees are charged in Jamaican Dollars (JMD) unless otherwise stated.

Accepted payment methods include:

● Bank transfer (NCB)

● Cash

● Lynk Digital Payments

All payments must be settled in full prior to processing or release of shipments. Payments are non-refundable once shipment or service processing has begun.

11. Claims & Complaints

All claims must be submitted in writing via email or official claim form within forty-eight (48) hours of notification or receipt.

Required documentation includes:

● Invoice or proof of value

● Photos of package and contents

● Any supporting evidence

WhatsApp or verbal complaints do not constitute formal claims.

Failure to submit within the required timeframe will result in forfeiture of any claim.

12. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Packages not collected within twenty (20) days of notification will incur storage fees of JMD $100 per day.

Packages uncollected after sixty (60) days may be auctioned, donated, or disposed of to recover storage and administrative costs.

Customers remain liable for all outstanding charges.

13. Identification & Collection

Valid government-issued identification is required for the collection of all packages.

Sicuro Shipping Limited reserves the right to refuse release of packages where proper identification is not provided.

14. Cancellations

Cancellations must be requested at least three (3) hours prior to the scheduled service, where applicable. Cancellation fees may apply.

Sicuro Shipping Limited reserves the right to cancel services at its discretion.

15. Refusal of Service

Sicuro Shipping Limited reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or shipment that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or poses a safety or operational risk.

16. Amendments

Sicuro Shipping Limited reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Sicuro Shipping Limited and the customer and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
